What is EGA?

EGA is a label to identify amazing experiences in the activity of geocaching - the worldwide scavenger hunt, or game of hide and seek, as some people describe it - and EGA denotes Excellent Geocaching Adventures!

What is Project EGA?

Over the years, Cache The Line has been producing videos and content to help promote the hobby of geocaching, for all of its benefits, from fun to exploration to education to social community to adventure... but in this process has also been slowly uncovering a little-known parallel dimension.

From sharing experiences from "the line", to hearing stories from the Treasure Troops and unraveling events dating back through 2021, 2020, 2019, and 2018, this realm is slowly taking shape...

Efforts to explore the "Line" are being classified for exclusive access under the label #ProjectEGA, thanks to the band of excellent patron supporters who continue to help fund the project and make all this possible.

PHASE ONE

Launching in July 2023 on Indiegogo, a new geocoin aims to tap into this parallel dimension. Special artifacts - the geocoin "discs" - are said to be able to reach to this realm of "the line" and garner power, and knowledge from it. The extent of what the discs can do has yet to be discovered.

To date, two artifact variants have been revealed:

-1- EARTH (June 5) Silver

-2- LIFE (June 12) Copper

-3- SENSE (June 19) Glow

-4- QUEST (June 26) Gold

PHASE TWO?

All that is known is another exclusive preview session was held for patron access only, on June 23rd.

However, some curious tips have snuck out over time.
